If you submitted an application and did not gain employment for Spring 2024, we will keep your application information on file for upcoming opportunities. It is possible our job requirements for working days, hours, and skillsets may change in the future.

What Is The Job?
You will be working directly with flowers, vegetable plants, herbs, hanging baskets, planters and more. A variety of fast paced and physical tasks, including planting, moving flats of plants, watering, restocking, moving potting soil, bending and lifting, are just samples of the work involved. No experience needed.
How Much Will I Make?
Evers’ Country Gardens has two types of entry level positions available.
1) First type is general greenhouse production duties, including planting flats, hanging baskets and other containers. Moving flats of plants, watering, restocking is among the duties. This role has a starting wage is $15 per hour.
2) Second type includes all duties from above and includes occasional heavier lifting tasks. The ability to lift bags of potting soil (up to 50-pound bags) is a requirement for this role. This role has a starting wage is $15.50 per hour.
And as always, skilled and experienced candidates can earn more.
How many hours a week will I work?
It is up to you (and us) … Daytime hours, after-school hours, weekends. From a minimum of a few hours after school to a fairly regular weekday or weekend schedule. Generally, 17 to 30 hours per week is typical. School activities, family responsibilities, church activities, sports, band, Dr. Appointments, we work around all of these and more! All work is based on the spring season and our production requirements vary week by week.
How Old Do I Need To Be To Apply?
You need to be at least 16 years old to apply in most cases. Those 14 and 15 years old may apply realizing that the State of Ohio imposes significant restrictions for this age group.
Do you offer benefits such as healthcare?
We do not offer benefits for part time seasonal work.
